apart from an occasional server reboot, the forum is usually stable. However, recently there was a kind of "attack": thousands of IP addresses connected and didn't wait for the answer; instead they immediately sent more requests, flooding the server.

I put up extra rules to ban these IPs ...

There will be a few unavailability windows of one or a few hours of all services (forum, blog, uploader and downloader) due to hardware troubleshooting and maintenance. The first of these should be during Monday afternoon.

I assume these Pat Hobby stories are OK from a copyright point of view (that is, the only author is Fitzgerald). I don't see any information to the contrary. Then it's completely up to you! If you want to read them, I can do the word counts.

I hope that e-mails work now. At least, until the forum wants to send too many. Then I'll have to look for another solution.

About notifications - I try to reconfigure the e-mail setup, but I may need to contact my domain name provider as I cannot authenticate correctly.

I don't know what the practice is here in Legamus; in LV, they want the file to be within 74 minutes simply because that's how much time will fit on a CD for those who burn the audiobooks into hard-copy.

If that's not an issue for Legamus, is there any other reason a story can't be 86 minutes long ...

In the MW, both the link and the duration are just free-form text fields. There is no automatism. If one updates the link but not the duration, then that's what you see.
