Hi there, here's my story:
http://ge.tt/9e0Yxnd/v/0 (21:07)
I may have named it wrongly:I took 'Collected Short Stories' from the MW, but now see that perhaps it should've been 'Selected'. Do you need me to change it?

Hi
Thanks for you contribution, Alan
Sorry for the mistake. As you say, it should be "selected". I can rename your file tomorrow.
How did you like the story?

OK, I've just listened to the piece and see that you'll need to re-record the intro. I'm not sure why I assumed it was only the question of tags.
Anyway, I've already fixed the error in the spreadsheet. Sorry for the trouble once again.

Hello! 'In the Vault' is PL OK, and wonderfully read
~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm confused: Wikisource states about these stories "This work is in the public domain in the United States because it was legally published within the United States (or the United Nations Headquarters in New York subject to Section 7 of the United States Headquarters Agreement) before 1964, and copyright was not renewed." Does this mean they could be done for Librivox?
The problem is that the US copyright status of at least some of the post-1922 works by HPL is a mess. I know what you're referring to, but I also read (e.g in "H. P. Lovecraft. A life." by S. T. Joshi) that despite there being no verfiable renewals, there have been problems with using some of later works as if there were in the public domain. You'll probably notice that Project Gutenberg (the US-based one) only host pre-1923 works. Since LV always tries to stay on the safe side, it makes sense that they don't take the risk).
Hello guys!
Great story that one!
The Legamus disclaimer is missing from the intro. The album tag is "collected...", should it be "selected..."?
Hi, Rapunzelina Yes, it should be "selected". I originally made a mistake in the spreadsheet title, but then I fixed it.
Not so much for me, as for this project
Great:) I'll add you to Google Docs.
I can see that it's your first post here. Do you know the procedures we follow (i.e the tech specs we prefer, where to upload the files, and the such)? Most of the volunteers we've got here, find Legamus through LibriVox, so if you've already recorded something for LV and got an OK, just leave the tech settings as they are.
EDIT: In case you don't know about these things, here's some helpful info: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test
Oh, and how would you like to be credited? With your forum name?
Hello Piotrek,
That's excellent.
Yes I recorded a few things for Librivox a couple of years ago...however, there were problems with the site being hacked and eventually I found I was just unable to log in to the new password librivox provided....then life became a bit too busy elsewhere to carry on.
I know the tech specs and can achieve those...but will have to remind myself of the upload process and follow-up routines. I will look at the link you sent and work through it slowly.
Yes use the username for public listings....it sort of works for me to use this.
All the best
Nigel
