Hello Ezwa,

great that you want to start this reading here, but I do feel trouble arising - all our servers, and my own person, are located in France.

For context: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little ... _in_France

Salut Viktor,

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ! Pourquoi ? PourQUOI ? POURQUOI ?

I'm very sorry, Ezwa! But hold on... maybe we can at least alleviate the problem.

First, why France? I'm a German living in France. The Germans have horrible laws which do not care much about non-commercial volunteer projects. Instead of ranting here, I'll refer to Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abmahnung

So I hope that France knows better how to deal with cultural projects. But they do have their copyright exceptions...

[this case will be discussed internally]

Hello Viktor and Hokuspokus,

Oh, oh ! There is hope... (^~^)

I guess if all the files were hosted in a country where the text is in the PD, the copyright holders in France wouldn't have a say.
But it would be courteous to inform them (if it was PD where we'd host the files (UK, Canada or other), could they really object? I'm not sure I would ask them, I would just let them know as a courtesy, if they can be easily found) and, yes, it would be good to have a big warning on the page linking to the files.
If that could work, it would be great. :-)

Edit: it's all set on my part (4 sections). Just in case...

Edit (17/04/2015): the files are available on audiocite.net, hosted in a country where the text is in the PD. :-)

I move this to Completed Projects to keep the Launch Pad tidy.

Great that you have found a host for it, Ezwa. :D
I think it's save to put a link here for all people who are not in France or the US.

Get Ezwa's recording here:
http://www.audiocite.be/livres-audio-gr ... rince.html

I listened to the first part. Wonderful recording!
I read it at school, a long time ago. Somehow I knew more French back then ...
