Re: A Dramatic reading? Or is that a completely crazy idea :

Either we do this as one of our "long-running" projects that's done when it's done, and we are all happy with that. Or we do a "crowdfunding-like" scheme of giving us a deadline (one month, for example) for getting all roles assigned. If we do not get all roles covered, we don't...

Re: Policy: Dramatic reading rewritings?

Sorry I took so long to post here. It certainly is a lot of work, but the burden is mostly on the BC: rewriting - if permitted and desired, color-coding, and editing. I agree. And I really like colour-coding and editing... though if I do end up BC'ing one I don't think I would rewrite it. I like lis...

Re: A Dramatic reading? Or is that a completely crazy idea :

The two main issues are, I think, a number of roles which must not be too large for our little community, and the availability of an editor - that's the most time-consuming task for a play. Apart from that, it should be doable! I agree. My main concern is the number of roles - I'm not sure exactly ...

A Dramatic reading? Or is that a completely crazy idea :)

Hi! I'm considering starting a dramatic reading :D  Would anyone be interested in helping read, or would this just not work with such a small site? I was thinking of The Fairy Caravan by Beatrix Potter, but it is a full novel. (Even if it's only a short one.) Another option I was thinking of ...

Re: Group [ENG] Anne of Windy Poplars by L. M. Montgomery -

I'd forgotten how much I like this book! I'll plan to come back and read some more, once I have "Wives and Daughters" a bit more under control. 5 Chapters narrated, 55 to go! Yikes! The longest book I ever did was Anne of the Island, which was only 41 chapters and they were mostly...

Beth,
I think this is the first time I've heard you not in a DR, and I kept expecting someone else's voice to come in
Section 3 is PL OK!
Section 2 is much too quiet (79 db) :?

Thanks!

Re: Solo [ENG] Emily Climbs by Lucy Maud Montgomery - jn

Grrrr! I have had this problem before. It happens sometimes (I think it's because I don't have a lot of space on my computer) where it makes little skips.
I think that's what happened with section 4.
Thank you!

No reply :( Do you want me to advertise for another proof listener?

Thanks Ramona!
Please don't worry about being slow. I know what it's like to have a bunch of PL jobs and sometimes it feels like everyone submits sections at once :)

Got it. Do I need to ask people what name they want? Or only if they're new? Thanks! :)
