Hi Viktor,
I like it! When I saw your message I wasn't sure what to expect, but I think you're being hard on yourself. It looks really good - thank you very much for creating it!

Re: PD in 2019
I would like to point out that The Great Gatsby is PD in Europe or countries with life + 70, while it is not in the US. Therefore librivox won't do it, but you can :)
Hello Michaelwy,
There's some good news! Martin Reyto has already recorded The Great Gatsby, so you can start listening this ...

No rush! I appreciate your efforts, because we'd be here all year if it were down to me to come up with a cover.

Hi Anna,
I didn't make a note of the pronunciations - I don't think they're really a big deal, but I hope it helps for future things!
Chapters 19 and 20 are PL OK, so the book is finished - well done!
I'm going to be really annoying and mention a typo in the new summary in your post - in the ...

Chapter 17 is PL OK!
I have one small note on pronunciation. This is a classic example of a homograph - 'bow' is spelled identically but the pronunciation varies depending on the meaning. If you take a deep bow, it rhymes with wow. It's definition 2 here:

Pronunciations - don't I know it! I have some howlers on record that I know how to avoid in future, but one thing that recording has done is make me second guess the pronunciation of absolutely everything. I'm sure I know it, and yet, maybe, just maybe, I don't...

Fantastic, thanks! I realise it isn't always possible to give everybody credit, but it's nice when that does happen.
What do you think to this photo of Yeats from roughly the same time he was writing this book? (The photographer died in 1942, so the copyright ought to be okay.) If it would be ...

Hi Anna!
Section 12 is PL OK. It's good to pick up these adventures setting up a homestead again!
I'll get to 13 shortly. I have one small note - it doesn't affect the meaning, but perhaps it might be useful for future reference. It's the pronunciation of cove (see the second definition):

Re: [ENGLISH] A Full Moon in March - W. B. Yeats - vik
Fabulous!
If, and only if, there is room for a third PL, would it be possible to add Phil's name? He checked my editing of the dramas. If not, not to worry, as having two credits for PLing is still a decided improvement over LV!
There isn't (yet) an online text.
I definitely don't have a cover ...

Hi Viktor,
I have added a summary to the first post, as follows:
William Butler Yeats first published this collection in 1935. In it, he developed themes and symbolism prevalent throughout his work, including his fascination with masks and Irish legends.

Woo hoo, thank you Phil!
You're quite right, that was partly because the attendants weren't singing and partly to trim references to stage directions not directly related to visual stuff impossible to represent in an mp3.
I've marked them both PL OK, and I'll get to work on the summary! Very well ...

Re: PD in 2019
Thanks Viktor, this is really cool! I usually have such a stack of books I want to record I don't pay that much attention to the new stuff on 1 January, but it's nice to be reminded of new and exciting things that are available.
I don't know if there has been much discussion with PD books changing ...
