Looks like something could be better configured. I'll have a look tonight.
A quicker way of accessing that spreadsheet - and any Google doc you have access to - should be to log into drive.google.com .
Edit: Just checked - looking at what Google provides, this way might actually be "better" than ...

Re: COMPLETE [POLISH] Brązownicy by Tadeusz Boy-Żeleński - h
EDIT: I've just noticed that the link to the Polish Wikipedia article on Boy-Żeleński doesn't go straight to wiki, but uses some redirect instead.
Well spotted. Corrected!

Hm. One more episode that makes me prefer good old e-mail, in spite of all its apparent problems.
Piotr, Google should have sent you an invitation e-mail right now with access to the MW. When you're logged into Google, you can edit it.

"What e-mail address of yours shall I give to Google for getting access to the MW? Your @gmail.com one?"
Weird, I was very much sure of having written such a PM to you yesterday, but now I don't see any traces of it. Apologies!

That's normal that you can't edit it yet. I still have to give you access, and I'm waiting for your response to my PM

Re: Publicizing Legamus
ARE the Legamus links in Wikipedia OK? I assume that Wikipedia servers are at least partly in the US and the foundation probably follows US regulations and we give a link to the recording of a book that is not PD in US. On the other hand there's an explicit notice on our website that says "books ...

Re: Publicizing Legamus
Thank you, Cori. Links on book pages are certainly worth a try - and one does not invest too much time. Your link on "A Room of One's Own" will certainly stay, because it is very hidden: some problem with the markup before? I don't dare to touch it

Re: [DRAMA] So we join the ladies? by JM Barrie
These are all very good points.
As for the PDness, I think that would be doable. What we'd need is an exhaustive list of sounds, where for each sound you tell us where it came from: either you or another Legamus reader recorded it, or you give a link to the source. Of course, archives of PD sounds ...

Re: [DRAMA] So we join the ladies? by JM Barrie
About sound effects: I'm not a friend of bans in general, and Legamus should be allowed to experiment. Cat, if you manage to convince us that sound effects would be good for this project, I'd be for it! I don't know the LV argumentation, but let met tell you what I see as arguments against it ...

Of course, everyone is free to do whatever s/he wants. My personal advice is, however, not to waste any more time with this.

Re: Group - D H Lawrence - short stories-neb/vik
So we cannot rely on the dates written in the PG Australia text? Bummer!
In that case, I'd better update the publication times on the catalog page to something vague like "published in their present form in 1934", and avoid to give years for the individual sections.
This project is now complete ...

Re: [DRAMA] So we join the ladies? by JM Barrie
Might take me some time until I get my next opportunity for recording. Meanwhile, I wonder: the editing effort with dramas is quite high. While this drama is not that long, there's constant interruption among the roles and by the narrator. Is there anything we can do to make it easier for the editor ...

Re: Publicizing Legamus
Thanks Cat, but don't be bothered when someone decides to delete that article. Wikipedia is an interesting place with all kinds of people. Some have a tendency to delete stuff. I've often thought it'd be a good research subject for sociologists to compare discussion pages to controversial subjects ...

Great, thank you all for your quick answers.
Tonight I'll prepare the catalogging. While we're waiting for the OK of the last reader, you can pre-view the catalog page, and then we can quickly publish.

Thank you, Cori and Ruth! Perfect, there's nothing left to do for me!
Sorry for the confusion, Algy and all readers - looks like it was me who confused "disclaimer edited in later" with "common disclaimer"... I'll PM the other readers so they can decide whether they record their own disclaimers.
