Re: solo[ENG]Death of an Airman - Christopher St John Sprigg

Hello Erin, That would be great, thank you! I don't need quick PL-ing - sometimes I post a few chapters in quick succession, but that is more because of sudden bursts of enthusiasm etc - no need to follow along at the same speed, there is no deadline! Yes, I'm reading from a hardcopy. A successful v...

Hello Hokuspokus,
Thank you!
I've added the first chapter to the MW:

Perhaps a proof-listener will come along, hopefully. I'll first continue with recording.

question about book

Hi everyone, Question about whether a book would be acceptable for turning into an audiobook for Legamus: Death of an Airman by Christopher St John Sprigg (1907-1937) Published in 1934 So far, so good. I have a hardcopy, but found no fulltext online. https://books.google.nl/books?id=ZVphngEACAAJ (th...

Re: DUET [DUTCH] De Padvinder by anonymous

Hello Hokuspokus,
I've emailed you the signed permission from the parents. I've made small adaptations to the summary in the first post. And I've made a CD cover: http://upload.legamus.eu/simple/files/e ... _cover.jpg - let me know if anything needs to be improved. Thank you!

Re: DUET [DUTCH] De Padvinder by anonymous

Hello Hokuspokus,
Well, took me a bit longer to get this all together again! My apologies.
I've uploaded the file to the MW. The parents agree & approve of full public domain license. I'm going to see them tomorrow, and will get a signed document from them. I will also make a "CD cover" tomorrow!

Re: DUET [DUTCH] De Padvinder by anonymous

This is the project recorded by my 2 nephews, of 7 en 9 years old. It's a short adventure story for children, the boys thought it was really exciting, so I think other children will like it too. I have edited and prooflistened it already, the total is 18:10. They would only be credited by their firs...

Re: Short children's book idea (in Dutch)

Thank you, Hokus. I'll post it as a project.
Parents are on holiday right now, and I'm about to leave for holiday as well - so will probably work on it more in September.

Short children's book idea (in Dutch)

Hi everyone, I had my nephews to visit the last two days, 7 + 9 years old. We had fun recording an old children's book, that is, I coached them and they did the recording. It's a story that was published anonymously more than 70 years ago, so complies with European copyright rules, I believe. Text: ...

Sorry for the delay, Anna, I am very busy with RL at the moment. All your tag are just perfect, the tech specs anyway. Thank you for this. Once Viktor has created the download page, this recording will appear in our catalog. Please don't worry, I understand completely. It's a good end-product that ...

Hello Herman,
Thank you!
It must have been an editing fault - I've re-recorded the whole sentence and put it in. I'm glad you caught it. I've done a spot-check myself, and the section is now complete - so Hokuspokus, the project is complete now! :D

I know, I think this will be under copyright for at least 35 more years. Ah well, the proceeds are used for a good purpose, I think.

Re: solo [DUTCH] Kleine Inez by Reinier van Genderen Stort -

Hi Hokuspokus, Well, I decided to travel to Arnhem today to make some photographs myself - I don't live very far away, just 15 min by train. It was a very wet, cold and grey day, but that fits with most of the book as a setting (and I have warmed & dried up again since I have got home ;) ). It was a...

OK - I will search further.

Hello Herman and Hokuspokus, Best wishes for the new year! I've added the final 3 sections to the MW. Herman, no hurry, there's no deadline. I'll be working to improve the summary text. Hokuspokus, I've tried my hand at a picture - first time I've done that... I'll PM you a dropbox link - could you ...

Tempting, right? The original Dutch edition has been put online by a French researcher who doesn't agree with the ruling on the copyright. I would love to record it in Dutch, but probably it would be better not to....
